Attention all Detroit sports fans!
The 6th annual Detroit Sports Fans Choice Awards Show is coming back to town on September 17th.
We will be honoring two very special former Detroit athletes. Mayor Dave Bing, former Pistons player, will be receiving our Lifetime Achievement Award,
and former Pistons teammate John Salley will be the receipient of our Commitment to Excellence Award.
We are also planning a special welcome to Daunte Culpepper of the Lions, as well as a Team Achievement Award to our Detroit Red Wings for their
outstanding season in 2008.
Net proceeds from the event will benefit Kids Kicking Cancer, a local pediatric cancer support group for kids and their families.
The event is closed to the public, however pictures and podcasts will be posted later this month, so be sure to check back!
